This week our CEO, Carlos Martin Rivals, is visiting the Philippines, a key market for us in the APAC region. One of the main objectives of Carlos’ trip to Manila this time is to personally convey our continued commitment to driving the offshore wind sector forward in the country and to reiterate our ambitious plans for this market. This visit holds particular significance as we mourn the recent passing of Raymund Pascual, our Country Manager in the Philippines. Raymund’s legacy will be cherished and carried on by our team in the Philippines and globally.

Under Raymund’s leadership, BlueFloat Energy has actively contributed to the development of the offshore wind industry in the Philippines over the past two years. We’ve fostered strong relationships with key stakeholders and policymakers, laying the groundwork for our projects and the industry’s growth. As we move forward, we reaffirm our commitment to the country. Our global team, including senior leadership, has visited the country on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. We stand ready to engage in meaningful discussions on regulatory frameworks, supply chain development, port infrastructure, and any other critical issues pertaining to offshore wind deployment.

The Philippines continues to represent a key market for BlueFloat Energy, and we are eager to leverage our extensive global experience to support the country’s journey toward sustainable energy solutions.

This visit comes hot off the heels of our recent success in the Feasibility Licence process in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia, another one of our key markets in the APAC region!
