As a Business Development Associate at BlueFloat Energy, Julia supports global business development activities. In her role, she supports VP Business Development in market entry and project development strategies internationally. She carries out market analysis, including regulatory, macro-economic and political aspects, potential partners and competition. Julia also maintains regular contact with the local teams, development partners and other relevant stakeholders.
When she started at BlueFloat Energy, Julia worked on project development, including stakeholder management and permitting, in Spain.
Prior to joining the company, Julia worked as Analyst in the Energy Advisory team at Enzen Spain. One of the key projects, in which she was involved, was the analysis of the Iberian region’s potential to become a hub for technological development and industrial leadership in floating wind for EIT Innoenergy.
In addition, Julia worked on the development of an offshore wind project and a wave energy farm in Lanzarote (Canary Islands, Spain), where she developed relationships with the local stakeholders. Furthermore, Julia worked on several solar photovoltaic greenfield developments, including solar self-consumption projects. She also prepared successful tender proposals for telecommunications and renewable energy projects.
Julia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom).
