The tide keeps turning in Australia!
After participating in an insightful industry engagement event for our Greater Gippsland Offshore Wind Project, “A Practical Transition to New Energy,” in Morwell, Gippsland, our CEO Carlos Martin Rivals took the stage at the Australia Wind Energy 2023 Conference & Exhibition (AuWE2023) in Melbourne.
At the panel discussion titled “Offshore Wind – The Most Promising Renewable Source Supporting the Country’s Energy Strategy” Carlos engaged in a comprehensive dialogue on offshore wind, covering key aspects like government policies, environmental approvals, and regulatory frameworks in Australia. He emphasized the need for providing clear indications for revenue support and the importance of focusing on merit credit criteria in license evaluation. Additionally, he underscored the pivotal role of collaboration in developing an industrial base and efficient supply chains to drive offshore wind projects in Australia.
