As Senior Business Project Manager at BlueFloat Energy, Will brings to the team a unique blend of expertise, passion, and leadership. Based in Singapore, Will is responsible for supporting BlueFloat Energy’s business and project development endeavours across the APAC region. He has a key coordination role acting as an interface between the local teams and the corporate functions. Working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, Will ensures the successful development and delivery of offshore wind projects.
Before joining BlueFloat Energy, Will worked for Copenhagen Infrastructure Services Co and Copenhagen Offshore Partners. His journey in the offshore wind industry started in his homeland Taiwan, where he managed consent and commercial workstreams for a 600 MW offshore wind project. Subsequently, he focused on early-stage development of a pipeline of 6 GW fixed-bottom and floating projects. This involved various multidisciplinary activities, including site screening, EIAs, and development of offtake, localization, and partnership strategies.
During his tenure in Europe, Will was involved in seabed lease tenders and M&A due diligence projects across the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, and has successfully coordinated the expertise within the organization to craft winning bids.
Will holds an MBA from IMD Business School and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Toronto.
