In her role as Legal Counsel, Teresa oversees corporate legal affairs and contract matters for BlueFloat Energy. She plays a pivotal role in supporting this legal function across the entire global portfolio of companies within the group. Additionally, Teresa serves as the Data Privacy Officer (DPO) for BlueFloat Energy, offering guidance on data privacy matters across various jurisdictions within the group.
Throughout her career, Teresa has gained extensive work experience in various legal roles. She started her career at Indra where she held various positions within the Corporate Legal Department for nearly seven years. She then joined Ferrovial, where she was part of the Corporate Legal team, advising on Corporate Governance and Data Protection matters, and afterwards Maxam, a Spanish a global technology company specializing in energetic materials. Before joining BlueFloat, she was the Legal Manager of NEORIS for the EMEA region, advising on all business and corporate transactions in the region. At NEORIS she also held the role of Global DPO, providing advice on data privacy matters in the different jurisdictions of the group.
Teresa is a member of the Madrid Bar Association (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid). She holds a Bachelor Law Degree from Universidad San Pablo CEU de Madrid, a Master´s degree in Company Law from IE Law School (Spain), and a CIPP/E Certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
