As Procurement Manager, Scott is responsible for BlueFloat Energy’s procurement activity in the United Kingdom, leading overall strategy to deliver cost effective solutions through sourcing initiatives and supplier development.  He manages the procurement activities and relationships with suppliers, including negotiation of relevant contracts/agreements, developing strong external relationships with suppliers, industry associations and local supply groups.

Scott brings over 15 years’ experience in offshore and onshore renewable energy and wider infrastructure projects. Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Scott led the energy commercial team at Arcadis, working on a range of energy transition projects across the UK for bluechip clients such as National Grid Interconnectors and SSE Transmission.

Previously, Scott was the Head of Procurement for Red Rock Power, developing the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm off the East Coast of Scotland.  He was responsible for managing the procurement and commercial team and all the procurement activities relating to consents, geotechnical and geophysical campaigns, offshore met mast installation, pre-FEED services etc for both the onshore and offshore elements of the Inch Cape project and other projects within the portfolio.

Scott holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Abertay, Dundee, a PG Dip in Construction Law from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and is a Professional Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
