Business Project Manager - Americas

As a Business Project Manager, Nicholas is responsible for business development activities in the Americas. He oversees project development activities working closely with the local teams, development partners and represents BlueFloat Energy towards external stakeholders in the relevant markets. In his role he also acts as a key interface with the corporate functions to ensure smooth coordination and continuous support to our activities in the Americas region.

Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Nicholas worked as a project manager for Mainstream Renewable Power, overseeing the US West Coast Markets. Nicholas led the Mainstream Joint Venture development teams during the U.S.’ first floating wind lease auction round: the California BOEM Offshore Wind Auction. He successfully developed and presented the California investment case to the AKER Group Board and Mitsui & Co Group Board, receiving full financial backing.

Nicholas started his career in nuclear energy for Framatome followed by a few years in the defense sector and shipbuilding in France for Naval Group.  Nicholas gained through his career an extensive experience of developing and managing strategic projects in heavy infrastructure industries.

Nicholas holds a Master’s degree in strategy and management  from EM Lyon Business School, a Master of Science in business and  project management from KEDGE Business School and a Bachelor in mechanical engineering from the University of Valenciennes.
