Communications and Marketing Manager
As Communications and Marketing Manager, Isabel is responsible for developing and executing BlueFloat Energy’s corporate communications and marketing strategy and for supporting our project development activities across the key markets through stakeholder engagement.
Isabel has over 7 years of agency experience in developing communication and advocacy campaigns for clients across a variety of sectors, managing and transforming reputations, educating key audiences and addressing complex political and regulatory issues. Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Isabel served as Account Director at Burson Cohn & Wolfe, where she had horizontal responsibility for communications and policy counsel in the fields ranging from sustainability to technology, competition & tax, and disability rights. She has helped several European tech scale-up companies as well as US multinationals to strengthen their political capital in Brussels. She has also been the lead on multilingual pan-European campaigns for the European Commission’s Directorate General for International Partnerships, advising on all aspects of the campaign from strategy to content development, paid media and stakeholders’ partnerships.
Prior to that, Isabel worked for another Brussels-based public affairs and communications agency and for the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition. Isabel started her professional career in in international marketing in Spain.
Isabel graduated in Economics in Spain, and she also holds a Master in European Economic Integration from the Institute of European Studies at the Free University of Brussels.
