As Associate in the Commercial area of BlueFloat Energy, Elsa supports the Head of Partnerships and M&A in establishing new partnerships to co-develop offshore wind projects. Her responsibilities encompass researching, evaluating and interacting with potential partners, compiling due diligence materials, outlining key terms and critical items in partnership documentation, and transaction process management in close collaboration with regional teams, corporate functions, and external advisors.
Elsa began her career in the renewable energy sector as a legal advisor at the ABEI Energy, where she worked on projects under development and construction in several countries. Later she worked in the Energy Department of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Paris where she lived for a year.
Her most recent experience has been in the M&A team of Impelia Energy, a company developing wind and photovoltaic projects in Europe and Americas.
Elsa completed her studies in Law and Business Administration at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Elsa is a qualified Spanish Lawyer. In addition, she obtained an MBA with specialisation in infrastructure and energy projects from ICEX-CECO Business School in Madrid. She has lived in the United States, Austria and France.
