In her role as Governance and Business Support Manager, Debbie is responsible for supporting effective governance and secretariat to the UK Partnership Committees and Forums. Working closely with Susie Lind, UK Country Manager, and the UK Partnership Office Manager, Debbie also supports in the smooth running of all other operational aspects of the UK business. A key aspect in providing this support is to continually work to find ways of improving efficiencies and the effectiveness of working practices and to have an in-depth understanding of internal systems and processes to enable support and a cascade of information or training to the team.
Debbie has over 40 years of experience, much of which has been working at Executive, Chairman and Board level. Prior to joining BlueFloat, Debbie has worked in Renewables for over 12 years, latterly with EDF Renewables and prior to that at UK Green Investment Bank (now Green Investment Group/Corio). In both of these roles she provided secretariat support to Group Company Boards and Committees. Before joining the world of Renewables she had many years of experience managing offices, events and providing PA and Governance support.
