As Geoscience Manager, Ander is closely involved in the early identification of ground-related site constraints and site feasibility assessment. He is also responsible for ensuring that quality ground data is obtained from site surveys to help achieve robust and optimal geotechnical solutions for the wind farm design.
Ander has extensive experience in site investigations and geotechnics for renewable energy projects. Before joining BlueFloat Energy, he worked at the development technical department of Solarpack performing feasibility analysis for utility-scale solar PV plants, assessing the geotechnical and hydrological hazards. Prior to that he had worked for several offshore site investigation contractors including Fugro, Geoquip and Horizon Geosciences.
Ander has a Master’s degree in Engineering Geology and Geotechnics from the Complutense University in Madrid.
