Alfonso Arévalo Pérez

As Senior Naval Architect, Alfonso is responsible for analyzing the performance of the floating offshore wind turbines systems, developing feasibility studies and coupled assessments. Alfonso supports BlueFloat Energy global projects by analyzing floating platform solutions in their hydrodynamic and naval architecture aspects.

Before joining BlueFloat Energy, Alfonso has spent his first years at the engineering company Bluenewables, in the hydrodynamics department. This experience has allowed him to work with both floating and bottom-fixed platforms for offshore wind and floating solar in the design phase, conducting coupled analysis to determine loads and seakeeping, stability analysis and technical feasibility studies for the Offshore Wind systems. Additionally, he has been involved in FEED and pre-FEED studies for the development of new Offshore Wind Farms working for companies such as Capital BlueWind in the floating wind team.

Alfonso holds a degree in Naval Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, with a Master´s from the same university qualifying him as a Senior Naval and Oceanic Engineer.
