Our team attended yesterday Tamarindo´s Financing Wind 23 and Wind Awards, where we had an opportunity to connect with many professionals shaping the future of our energy sector and to celebrate the achievements of the wind industry over the last year.
At the conference, Carlos Martin Rivals, our CEO, joined the discussion on “Offshore wind – Expansion across Europe,” where he talked about the importance of addressing key bottlenecks in the supply chain as well as working with the local communities to ensure social acceptance of offshore wind projects.
At the Wind Investment Awards 2023 Ceremony, BlueFloat Energy won the Highly Commended prize in the Offshore Wind Developer of the Year award category. 🏆 We were shortlisted in this category together with Corio Generation, Maple Power Ltd and Ørsted. This achievement, which recognizes our trajectory and contribution to the deployment of offshore wind and showcases the collective efforts of our fast growing team, makes us truly proud.
We would like to express our gratitude to A Word About Wind and the judging panel for this distinction and congratulate Corio Generation, for winning the award “Offshore Wind Developer of the Year” as well as the Equity Deal of The Year, the category that was sponsored by BlueFloat Energy and presented last night by our VP Commercial, Pierre-Antoine Tetard.
