BlueFloat Energy reaffirms its commitment to bringing floating offshore wind power to Taiwan.
Taiwan’s government has recognized the potential of floating offshore wind as a key lever to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Carlos Martin Rivals, CEO of BlueFloat Energy, Pierre-Antoine Tetard, VP Commercial at BlueFloat Energy & Michael Pinkerton, Country Manager for Taiwan at BlueFloat Energy, met yesterday with Minister Wang Mei-Hua of MoEA in Taipei to reiterate our vision for Taiwan, with a near-term focus on delivering a floating wind farm demonstration project, whilst maintaining our ambition to develop large scale floating offshore wind projects that unlock the floating wind potential of this market!
