Lisbon Energy Summit & Exhibition has brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders to discuss the challenges of decarbonizing energy systems and opportunities related to investments in new renewable technologies, such as offshore wind.
As the country is ramping up its plans for the deployment of offshore wind, we were delighted to attend this event together with our partner Greenvolt Group whose CEO, João Manso Neto, spoke in the plenary session on the first day.
Portugal has set an ambitious target of achieving 10 GW of offshore wind power by 2030, as announced by the Portuguese Prime Minister, António Costa. This goal not only demonstrates the country’s determination to combat climate change but also presents a remarkable opportunity for economic growth and industrial development. We look forward to contributing to Portugal’s offshore wind aspirations and working towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.
