The BlueFloat Energy | Renantis Partnership sponsored last week´s CBIWales Annual Lunch, bringing together over 250 business leaders from across Wales to network and exchange ideas.
Highlighting the significant opportunities presented by floating offshore wind in the Celtic Sea, Gwenllian Elias spoke about how our own projects, Llywelyn and Petroc, have the potential to power close to 2 million homes with 2GW of cleaner, greener renewable energy.
The first GW in the Celtic Sea alone could potentially deliver over 3,000 jobs and £682m in supply chain opportunities by 2030, greatly contributing towards the Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government goal of upskilling Wales’ workforce and supporting the transition to net zero.
