Offshore wind presents a fantastic opportunity for Aotearoa.
BlueFloat Energy is ready to leverage this to accelerate the decarbonisation of NewZealand’s energy system whilst providing opportunities for the diversification of the country´s economy!
BlueFloat Energy New Zealand are proud supporters of the Ara Ake Venture Taranaki Offshore Renewable Energy Conference held in New Plymouth today.
BlueFloat Energy’s Country Manager for New Zealand Nathan Turner addressed the crowd on day one stressing the need for investment in offshore wind now if Aotearoa is to generate the 500 MW per year of new renewable energy we need to meet growing demands for electrification and to help decarbonise our economy.
BlueFloat Energy New Zealand Energy is partnering in New Zealand with Elemental Group Limited Group to bring to life the South Taranaki Offshore Wind Project and the Waikato Offshore Wind Project. The partners have great confidence in the experience, skills, talent and infrastructure we have in Aotearoa to help make the offshore wind industry a reality in the country.
We look forward to hearing from Minister for Energy & Resources Minister Megan Woods tomorrow when she speaks to the conference about the offshore renewable energy opportunity.
