Environment and Consents Manager

As an Environment and Consents Manager at the corporate level, Sarah is responsible for supporting the development of consenting and wider environmental strategies and policies across the various markets where BlueFloat Energy is actively developing projects. She supports our local teams in their project development activities and tender preparation by sharing best practices and lessons learnt in the area of environmental consenting.

Sarah brings over 14 years’ experience in permitting, consenting and environmental management predominately in offshore wind. She joined us from Red Rock Power Limited, where she spent 10 years in the environment and consents team for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, off the East Coast of Scotland. Latterly in the role of Offshore Consents Manger during which she was responsible for managing all the activities relating to planning permissions, licences and consents for offshore elements of the project. She sat on a number of environmental working groups and was involved in a range of stakeholder engagement activities.

Before that, Sarah worked in consultancy as an ecologist involved in a number of renewables and infrastructure projects in the UK.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Ecological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
