As Investment Analyst, Eulalia supports the evaluation of commercial opportunities, strategic initiatives, and project economics. Eulalia uses financial modelling to support decisions on the projects in development, analysis of new markets and the evaluation of acquisitions, partnerships and other strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Eulalia worked for Scottish Power Renewables (SPR), part of the Iberdrola group. Eulalia joined SPR’s Graduate Programme which involved four placements over the duration of two years. The placements across the offshore business included: Engineering, New Business, Development and Business Development.
During the programme Eulalia gained exposure to the different activities of the offshore wind business, from very in-depth technical matters such as leading the offshore substation interfaces of Iberdrola´s Saint Brieuc project off the northern coast of France, to very commercial tasks such as contributing to the farm down of a UK project within the Iberdrola’s pipeline.
After completing the Graduate Programme, Eulalia joined the OFTO Transaction team. Here she led a number of workstreams in the East Anglia 1 OFTO divestment, which was completed successfully and had a value of circa £ 700million. ,.
Eulalia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (Madrid, Spain) and a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College University (London, UK).
