Junior Technical Project Manager

As Junior Technical Project Manager at BlueFloat Energy, Alejandro Manzano supports a range of geographies in their project development activities, ensuring coordination with the corporate technical team. Alejandro also supports the development of internal tools and processes.

Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Alejandro served as project engineer for Capital Energy, with the responsibility for site assessment and energy yield for offshore projects in Spain, Portugal and Colombia. In the case of Colombia, he was the lead engineer, directing an offshore fixed project and being the main contact with the local authorities. Alejandro also had the prime responsibility for the early-stage development projects in the Iberian Peninsula accounting for 3.5 GW. Additionally, he was part of the group in charge of the communications with the supply chain regarding offshore wind turbines and site surveys, and collaborated in stakeholder engagement in several regions of Spain.

Prior to doing his master’s degree he worked at Minsait, one of the leading consulting firms in Spain, having Enel as a client and providing support to projects in South America and Italy.

Alejandro holds a BSc degree in Energy Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M) and a MSc degree in Wind Energy from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
