Jean-Noël Dory, Mooring Senior Engineer at BlueFloat Energy, took the stage at the Moorings & Anchors Conference and Workshop organized by Global Underwater Hub today in Newcastle. 🎤

In his presentation «Station Keeping System: Developer Vision», Jean-Noël urged to address existing bottlenecks in mooring supply. He stressed the importance of collaboration between developers and mooring suppliers and the need to plan production capabilities by 2030. 🗣 «By 2030, the annual demand for mooring lines in the BlueFloat Energy portfolio would represent the distance from London to Edinburgh,» highlighted Jean-Noël.

This event was a great platform to learn more about the opportunities and challenges within underwater engineering, with a particular focus on the shifting market dynamics of the rapidly evolving #floatingwind sector.
