Research, training and experimentation at the heart of the three-year collaboration.
Bari, March 17, 2023 – Research, training and testing: these are the main trajectories of the framework agreement signed by the the Polytechnic University of Bari with Kailia Energia and Odra Energia, the companies born from the partnership between Renantis (formerly Falck Renewables) and BlueFloat Energy that are promoting the construction of two floating offshore wind farms off the coast of Puglia.
The three-year collaboration, focused on the development of floating offshore wind projects, includes research activities aimed at the design, construction and maintenance of the plants as well as the creation of an industrial supply chain dedicated to offshore wind farms.
On the training front, it is planned to activate advanced learning opportunities, such as internships for students and recent graduates, internships, support in dissertations, scholarships and specialized courses.
The agreement also covers activities to test cutting-edge technologies, for example through pilot projects or joint participation in national and international research programs.
