Development Manager, Mediterranean
As Development Manager for Mediterranean, Nicolas Boutin is in charge of managing stakeholder relations in the region of the South of France. Within the project team for AO6 French Mediterranean tender, his mission is to create favorable conditions for the bids of BlueFloat Energy and its partners to the floating offshore wind tenders in South of France.
Deeply anchored in the region and passionate about the French Mediterranean coast, Nicolas brings more than 20 years of Engineering and Project Management experience in energy sector gained in an international context.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Nicolas worked for Principle Power, the designer of WindFloat® technology and a pioneer in floating offshore wind, based in Aix-en-Provence. He served at Project Manager mainly for the Eoliennes Flottantes du Golfe du Lion (EFGL) project, a pilot floating offshore windfarm developed by Ocean Winds and located off the Mediterranean coast of Leucate in Southern France. He also represented Principle Power at the French renewable energy events and in the meetings with the local authorities.
Previously, Nicolas served as Project Manager and Engineering Manager for major companies in nuclear energy sector.
