Marcos Gil serves as BlueFloat Energy’s Junior Legal Counsel. He is a commercial and project lawyer, across regulated sectors, including renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
Marcos is responsible for BlueFloat Energy’s legal issues related to: transaction structuring, contract drafting, corporate governance matters and company secretarial work for our global portfolio of companies.
Prior to joining BlueFloat, Marcos was a Lawyer at Eversheds Sutherland as part of the Energy team and supported a variety of clients across different renewable energy technologies. Marcos started his legal career at Osborne Clarke, a law firm specialized in the energy sector, where he initially specialized in regulatory law.
Marcos is a member of the Madrid Bar Association – Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid. He holds a Bachelor Law Degree from Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), a dual Master’s degree of Laws (LLM) in entrepreneurship and technology from IE Law School (Spain). Marcos also completed a year at Lazarski University (Poland).
