As an Analyst within the French team at BlueFloat Energy, Charbel supports our operations and project development activities in France. He assists in the preparation of bids for offshore wind tenders, contributes to project economic modelling and business case review, supports French team members in their daily activities, especially with regards to the local stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Charbel served a Business Developer for Offshore Wind solutions at Schneider Electric, where he contributed to the development of the European commercial strategy and analyzed global markets with the highest potential for offshore wind.
Charbel is passionate about developing floating offshore wind as a key to accelerate the energy transition. In his professional thesis he explored the ways to optimize the commercial deployment of floating offshore wind farms in France, considering the constraints of market players, coastal users, and ports infrastructure.
Charbel graduated as an Electrical Engineer from École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Beyrouth (ESIB) and holds an Advanced Master’s degree in Energy Transition from École Centrale de Nantes and Audencia Business School.
